In a Tees Valley Premier Friends of the Earth are showing the record breaking film "The Age of Stupid" which features Pete Postlethwaite as a man living alone in the devastated future world of 2055, looking at old footage from 2008 and asking: why didn’t we stop climate change when we had the chance? Full film review in Variety Magazine Across the UK Over 50 locations will simultaneously show the blockbuster climate change film “The Age of Stupid” and then link up for a live webcast with George Monbiot, Fanny Armstrong the director, Nicholas Stern and the vice president of the Maldives. The film itself is revolutionary being crowd funded whereby 228 people and groups invested between £500 and £35,000 (total budget £450,000).
